Hi there! I have the joy of writing a beverage column for the illustrious Betty Pages!
I'm a Certified Sommelier with the Court of the Master Sommeliers, the American Chapter. I have worked for a wine and beer distributor in Montana for 10 years. I sold wine and beer at a cookware store, for nearly 18 years. I began writing wine reviews and columns, first for another distributor, then for the local paper, back in about 2013. The stories and histories are what made me fall in love with the industry. It was the families that made the wine, the friends who brewed the beer and the stories behind each bottle that really bolsters this passion. Between climate and social change, the wine and beer industries are an ever changing landscape with more to learn every day. |
