It didn't work out, but he discovered the World outside the USA. After some months at the Film and TV Institute of India and National Film Archive of India, he let his visa lapse and spent 10 days in New Delhi's Tihar Jail. Continuing his film study until 1979, he returned to Bellingham WA. At Western Washington University he curated a film series and deejayed at KUGS-FM for three years, and briefly taught cinema. In 2010 he returned to India. His film writings have appeared in many publications, and for over a decade in The Betty Pages. Some of his best films, including Flash, are available from Canyon Cinema in San Francisco.
